Thanks to a grant from the Clio Area Community Fund and the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, landscaping was put in at our build in Vienna Township. Due to their generosity, debris was removed, grading was completed, erosion mats were installed, the lawn was seeded, and perennials and a cherry tree were planted. Thank you also to Bordine's Nursery for donating the perennials and to our Habitat Homeowner Partners, Habitat staff and our wonderful volunteers, who all worked together to get the job done. Can't wait until Spring to see the results! Thank you everyone!
The Clio Area Community Fund is part of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint which serves the common good in Genesee County—building a strong community by engaging people in philanthropy and developing the community’s permanent endowment—now and for generations to come. CFGF helps donors support the causes they care about, today or through their estates. Since 1988 the Community Foundation has granted more than $130 million to nonprofit organizations to build a thriving community. CFGF serves Flint and all of Genesee County including its Community Funds in Clio, Davison, Fenton, Flushing and Grand Blanc.
