Habitat for Humanity International
and Genesee County Habitat for Humanity are proud to announce our
partnership with
One Economy Corporation (a national non-profit) Access All
program. One Economy Corporation is a national nonprofit
organization based in Washington DC and is dedicated to helping
low-income people improve their lives by ending the economic and
social isolation. Through a home-based, internet strategy,
One Economy is working to connect low-income households to
computers and internet access, training and support, and
comprehensive, online content to expand their opportunities to
make more informed decisions and build assets.
One Economy Corporation
through a partnership with AT&T will be offering internet
connectivity, computers, and training to thousands of families
across the United States; included in this program are several
thousand Habitat for Humanity families. This innovative
partnership is called Access All.
 The
tool that One Economy is using to help people learn more about
computers and their community is The Beehive! The Beehive has
information that can help you with the things that matter most in
your life: money, health, jobs, school, and family. The
Beehive is designed just for you. You can find information about
resources in your community and use online tools like Career Coach
and Entrepreneur's Center to take charge of your life. You
can get information in a way that's easy to understand, and you
can use the entire site in English and Spanish.
Genesee County Habitat for Humanity is proud to announce that we
have already helped six different families with a free computer
with free internet access for the next two years in conjunction
with One Economy and AT&T! We are always looking for
volunteers that would like to help with these installations or
computer training for the families. If you are in any way
interested in helping us with this please call our offices at
(810)603-1366 or email Ryan Johnson at
rjohnson@geneseehabitat.org! For
